In a post game interview on Fox with Chris Myers, you could tell Cam was pissed about the complacent play calling, even stating that Carolina became too conservative. He also stated, "You gotta trust coaching."

I hope Cam and Rivera slides Shula's ass through hot coals in tomorrow's morning meeting. As good as his play calling was in the first half, it was equally terrible in the second half.

 

I'll have to go back and really look at the game again to get a full context of how conservative we were in the second half.

if this was week 9 I would say that this is a major concern, building leads early and having trouble extending it late. I would say at that point it's a troubling epidemic that will eventually cost this team.but when you're only eight quarters away from slapping your cock against the Lombardi Trophy, I'd say we're close enough to the finish line to be able to accept any kind of win we can get.

I'm thoroughly impressed by our ability to run the ball and stop the run. the secondary is definitely falling apart, and so you're going to see mobile quarterbacks who can extend plays get what they need out of us.I think we have a really good opportunity to put Carson Palmer on his back quite a few times, and I'm really really happy we're not facing Chris Johnson, though I might be in the minority there

I saw a few Seattle fans upset about it on Reddit tonight.I really do feel bad for them, and I hope there's no additional suicides reported in the metro area up there over the next few weeks.

 

I just glanced at the first half again. It was absolutely stunning to see how dominant we were in the trenches. Seattle has a great deal of big game experience, and tha team is well coached and well versed in terms of overcoming early deficits. If you can build a 31-0 lead against the league's top-rated scoring defense, and still manage to win despite the fact that they are perhaps the best rallying / momentum team in the league, there's value in that
