The Panthers are at 11-0. The SeaHawks are 6-5. Has Carolina not clinched a playoff spot (wildcard) since we have the head to head with Seattle.? Looking over the standings the only teams that can catch us are the Packers, Vikings (one will win the division), Atlanta & Seahawks. I am probably overlooking the obvious. How about it? Thanks.

Not quite, as there is one scenario left in which the Panthers could miss the playoffs. That would be if Green Bay wins its division while Minnesota, Seattle, and Carolina all tied at 11-5. Minnesota and Seattle would get in due to a one game advantage in their record versus the NFC.

They would still go in as the division leader, wouldn't they?

Not if the Panthers lose out and Atlanta wins out.

A win Sunday gets us the division and a thus playoff berth for sure.

I'm pretty sure NO would love to crash our party.

And if they do, it would give Atlanta a great incentive the next week.

NM..if we go 11-5 that would mean Atlanta would have beaten us 2x. If they win out, then they'd be 11-5 also and get the tiebreaker.

Was just posting that, but you beat me to it. That would be a nightmare to come so close.

Worst case scenario probably involves us losing the bye week. Worst case. Atlanta has been way too shitty lately for me to believe they can sweep us and win the other three on their schedule.

Hopefully we take care of business Sunday and make it all a moot point.

53 black cats would have to run across the field and interrupt the opening kickoff for five straight weeks plus a few teams would have to have horseshoes up dey asses for five straight weeks. We are in the playoffs. Now having some crap happen there, is more possible.

this is new...week 13 and Panthers fans are checking to see if there's still any chance of missing the playoffs.
