Panthers vs Falcons Running Commentary

This is the same clusterfuck that wrought great production from Jordan Cameron and Josh Gordon with Jason Campbell Hoyer and Weeden at the controls? sounds terrible.

 

This is about not wanting Chud back as OC, not not wanting to replace Shula or Dorsey or the Special teams coach or even Riviera.


I'd take him back as a TE coach.

I am from the school of thought that talent and execution are more important than scheme. If you guys don't remember I did not like Chud, well I did not and do not want him back. No point in arguing about it.

That doesn't mean I am all up in Shula. He isn't showing enough aptitude for working with shit for talent, that's for sure. And we need someone who can do that.

 

Shula led our 2013 offense to 27th in the league despite having tons of talent. 89 and LaFell are both ripping shit up on other teams.


Again, Chud wasn't perfect, but it's stunning that some people still won't admit that he's light years better than Shula.

 

They were ranked 1st in pass attempts, someone over there should have decent stats.


They had a 2:1 pass run ratio. They were horribly unbalanced and made the D suffer. This year, recommitted to the run and are 6-4 under Pettine. D looks much better too for it. Same shitty QB.


It was no shock Cameron would look good under a Chud system. Its his specialty IMO.

 

Do you really think Chud could fix this shit?


No matter how good you think he is he still can't fix Harper or Decoud.

 

I'm saying that Chud is much better than Mike Shula. Chud wouldn't have Olsen disappearing for for long stretches of the game. Or call deep passes on 3rd and short. Or use our old slow ass running backs on outside runs. The offensive line doesn't excuse Shula's performance. If anything, it further highlights how incompetent he really is, since he's repeatedly used Olsen to chip defensive ends instead of having him in the route combination.


Mike Shula fucking sucks and Chud is much better than him. Say it.

 

LaFell's stats weren't really much different under either Panthers OC. Maybe having Brady throwing to him has a little something to do with his ascendance.
