How cool would it have been to have ss here with him. Not that cam wouldn't have overthrown them or shula not called a 2 yard out on a 3rd and 19 with Olsen blocking a de

That was a shitty play by him on the slant/int

watching him run routes, he's kinda slack if you pay attention (especially going back and focusing on him)

why does he make such great catches on hard to catch balls, yet drop apparent easy ones?

A great catch would have been securing it initially, not having it bounce off his hands and then need to secure it on the way down. And he got away with that OPI they've been calling this season. It wasn't blatant, but it was there. As for why he double catches so many things, it's because he has bad hands. He's big and strong and impressive at times, but he's only reliable when he can secure the pass against his body.

    agreesome

but in his defense in that catch, it appears the DB does get his hand in there and swat it out before the 'double clutch'

but yes, he seems to do that regardless many times

he needs to learn to run routes better (I'm confident our current staff won't help him develop much) and works on his hands and fundees.

it's kinda dissheartening the staff doesn't seem to help Cam and others work on their fundamentals to get better. every 'star' we have has bad fundamentals that, if improved somewhat, would dramatically improve their play. And not to just put it on the staff, but the individuals appear to not be working on them themselves either.

I've seen no improvements in many of the players after being drafted or signed from elsewhere. They are either purty good (and get no better) or they are average/bad and get no better. I see no improvements in them from week to week, month to month or season to season.

Nah, he's been double catching all season long, because he's not that good.

It was fun for a while "watching him grow", but the sheen is coming off. He's an inconsistent, unreliable receiver who runs shit routes and doesn't block.

He's bi polar too, and he needs to get it the fuck together.

I will say on one play when Cam got flushed, Benjamin did see it and mirror Cam toward the sidelines at which point Cam threw to him for I think a first down. Shows some development, though he does have a way to go. I am hopeful working with Proehl will help.

He's a rookie and at times he plays like it. And yeah, the double catching is quite noticeable, did it on that catch too.

But bagging on a rookie with almost 800 yards and 8 TD's in this shitty system? He definitely has work to do and I'm glad people stayed on his back after some junk time TD's but it was still nice to see a response at all.

Tell you what tho, if Gano hit that 63 yarder he gets a lot of props today for the heads up pass to Olsen to get out of bounds and cucking Mike Smith. Instead we dealing with ATL on top of the South, how sad, they are so shitty.
