I agree with all of that, expect I'd swap Otto Graham with Alex Smith.

Mac Speedie was a great receiver for Otto. Such a shame that he became a locker room distraction.

He also held the same job John Fox currently holds, although he had a metal allergy that forbade him wearing a watch.

He teased everyone that last year in Denver, but yeah even as someone in his corner for a while he'll never get better consistently at this point. He showed a glimpse of what he can do if he great WRs to cover up a lot of the badness last year but this now Marshall and Jeffrey are hurting.

I think maybe, going somewhat off what the Heisenberg of QB scouting said he could've been more had he stayed on a talented Denver roster with a good coach or Lovie hired a better coach on offense. Cutler needed a coach to press him hard and get those WTF plays to occur less often Martz is that kind of hardass but he wasn't deft enough to do it in a way Cutler would respond to and once he started getting killed behind that line anything positive he did contribute was tuned right out.

TL,DR Jay is Jay at this point and he's a case of what if due to circumstance and his unwillingness to change.

Also while remembering that Jay Cutler has had both Ron Turner and Mike Tice as OCs I realized we are probably fucking Cam up the exact same way.

I don't think he's bad by any means. He's above the Dalton Line, which is the imaginary line I created that separates playoff-makeable QBs from non-playoff-makeable QBs. I just don't get the constant expectation for him to be something special.

Edit: It is kind of ironic how Martz was the one coordinator who made him into a game-manager type, whenever he wasn't getting him sacked ten times a game.

I believe Cutler is far too arrogant for anyone to have saved him from himself. Most professional athletes aren't interested in instruction. You pretty much have to get to those guys in college, and even the college athletes are coming in as prima donnas now thanks to all the hype around high school recruiting rankings. The only guys who improve are the guys who genuinely want to do so.

I posted that before the season. Jordy has since signed for $39 million over four years, and I'd say that he has surpassed Jennings. That said, I do not believe that Nelson is an elite receiver. I think he's a good receiver who looks elite because he has Aaron Rodgers throwing to him. He didn't look that good last season while Rodgers was out, compared to someone like Josh Gordon who thrived even though Cleveland was running out dog shit behind center.

What about the Ravens or former Ravens cheerleader that allowed the 15 year old to put his penis in her vagina
