    More of the story is coming out now. According to NFL Network, Gettleman went to Smith and told him to agree to a pay cut or he would be released. Unlike Beason and Gross, Smitty told the fat man to go fuck himself, so Gettleman had to follow through or end up looking like a bitch. The "distraction" talk was all Gettleman trying to invent a reason for his colossal fuckup.
