my guess is once the Alexander suspension is up, the Panthers (NFL) will suspend Hardy indefinately and claim they were seeking legal advice for the delay.

How bad would it suck if we put together a nice year, make the playoffs, win a game or two, wind up in the Super Bowl, and Hardy's court case comes up the week of the game.....

I am trying to decide if the NFL would allow us to get that far with Hardy playing.

I don't know if Hardy is guilty but I do not believe a jury will convict him. The interesting thing will be if the media ignores the not guilty verdict or holds it up as a reason why suspensions aren't doled out immediately.

Stiffening the punishment for battering women while lightening the penalty for drug abuse seems very stupid, since the two are often related.

So what happens next week? And the week after? And the week after? If his trial isn't until 2015 has Hardy played his last game?

And what if a jury finds him innocent?
