    I was going to take credit for "reporting" this a long time ago except that it looks like Celtic Cat was the first one to suggest Gross retiring this off-season back in August 2012. But yeah, his contract restructuring before the season made it clear he fully intended to hang it up.

    Gross stood his ground most of the time. Based on his willingness to restructure, he was a good team player, too.

    He deserves some love like Kasay did when he retired, instead of being remembered for the SB out of bounds kick. Like Kasay, Gross contributed to a lot of wins throughout the years.
