I had that same thought, but didn`t have the balls to put it in my post.

B&B, now you know Charlotte is the only NFL city that picks apart and over reacts to anything their starting qb does. The Giants, Jets, Tampa Bay, Cardinals,... etc, never do that to their qbs.

I mean bipolar in the figurative sense. I don't think he's clinically bipolar, although we probably shouldn't be surprised if he is.

My message was that we should worry more about his on field progression than what he is as a person. As a man, he is what he is. I don't think he's on a Vince Young trajectory, and I don't think he'll become a guy who starts shitting on police cruisers, but he does have a lot of T.O. in him. It's the sort of thing I'm willing to accept as long as he becomes a better football player. Unfortunately I don't know if he has T.O.'s work ethic.

Tragically, I think Rivera is set on forcing Beason into the lineup because of his popularity. It will be sort of like how Fox kept wheeling out Stephen Davis in 2005.

I am objective, you're not. The way you described the play was not how it happened in real life.

No, he absolutely did not. You must be an incredibly delusional person because I don't think you would choose to lie about something everyone else saw and would therefore know you were lying about. After TD came over, Cam then went back to the camera and made some more gestures while mouthing something about TD being no fun.

Why not? There was the laptop thing at Florida, and then him being nonchalant about his dad shopping his services. That plus the sulking and pouting, the blaming teammates and coaches, etc. That has Vince Young written all over it. Cam doesn't have to wash out like Vince did, but if he doesn't want to then he sure as hell better get on remaking himself as a man. As for the rest, I'm with you about putting up with his shenanigans as long as he works on his craft. Unfortunately I see no signs that he has despite constant media reports and his own self-promotion of the idea.

He's a better quarterback than Vince Young, so I think he'll have more rope. If we keep losing games that could certainly change. It's not like Gettleman drafted him.

Gettleman said we have the qb in place here, one reason he wanted the job. But I think it's too early to predict Cam's future considering we could have a new coaching staff here next year to go along with the GM.

Cam has stayed way out of trouble, I'll give him that. No stupid pics or purple drank shit, or anything else. Would much much rather he worked on his qb phd than his college diploma though.

    nice post. good thoughts

Cam being a little goofy. No big harm but hopefully he learns to act with more class. Impressed by TD coming over and talking with him.

Making quick reads has never been a strength. Chud didn't run a lot of plays that required him to make quick reads. Seems like they are trying to work on that this preseason. Work in progress.

Agree, especially on Adams. I was really down on him last year but he looked a whole lot better. AE looked bigger and more confident. Barnes looked like he could be awesome. And that young TE looked like he could be a big weapon for us too. Despite not drafting/spending much on offense, I was impressed enough to think it could be much better.

Agree again. OL has been getting poor-mouthed a lot and I think they did a really nice job out there. Looked much better than last year.

Blackburn was a big surprise to me. Didn't know much about him but he looked very good out there.

Clausen looked like he's regained some confidence.

Yeah, no question. My point was simply that they appear to share a lot of personality traits.
