    I don't know ESPN's reasoning, but no organization having a worse salary cap situation over the next couple of years is why Carolina should be ranked near the bottom. And that's before potential contracts for Hardy & Newton.

    True, but the panthers have a good young core to build around. DG seems like he does the draft the right way. Basically saying the Panthers won't have to sign a lot of free agents to big $. We should just have to worry about our own.

    I wonder if Polians advice for a lot of teams is "Luck into a Peyton Manning, ride the wave of having an all time great QB and leave your fuckhead kids in charge"
