[IMG] Cam has plenty of talent around him. The team didn't make him the most inaccurate red zone quarterback by far. It didn't make him one of the worst on 3rd & longs. It didn't make his footwork terrible, work ethic questionable, and decision-making suspect. Newton has a lot of talent himself but thus far hasn't shown the professionalism to utilize it.

Oh put a cork in it. Bring something fresh once and awhile.

I said Team, that means the defense and ST's too. When Rivera took over this team the D was a mess. I said back then it'd take 3 years to get fixed. Were are only now heading into year 3.

Questionable work ethic, first ive heard that mentioned, Link?

It's funny how people that actually work with him say he has a amazing work ethic. Tell me again how being on a shitty team with a make shift offensive and players that aren't used properly doesn't affect things like redzone and 3rd down stats?

Dont get baited bro. He'll cling to those stats like a barnacle yet completely ignore the fact he is a 60% passer on 1st down, 2nd down and 3rd and short, has almost 8000 yards passing and 60 odd TD's at 23 years of age.

He does need improve his red zone passing. But we also need to get better on the right side of our OL.

    Really? WTF.

The NFL - No Fun League.

MF's need to get loose. Steve McNair used to take a nap before game time.

The Cowboys have bigger issues than Romo to be honest.

He actually has a decent passer rating and interception ratio.

Peyton also threw a nice pick off his backfoot, across his body in the playoffs to the Ravens last year. And a nice one to Porter in the SB.

They need more balance and i dont know how that contract is gonna help.

The cap has gone up about a 1/3 since then (30 million real dollars) but yeah I do wonder if we're seeing something of a QB bubble

This year is probably the best to do it: washington has a big hope he's healthy at QB, the Eagles are transitioning to a new offense and a 3-4, NYG are still horribly inconsistent in spite of their 'elite' QB- could easily be a division where 10-6 runs away with it.

Ex-NFL player Ross Tucker stated on Friday's Football Today podcast that he heard from "several people" that Cam Newton was a "different guy" when he reported to Panthers training camp in 2012.
Tucker credits outgoing OC Rob Chudzinski with turning Newton around after his work ethic and commitment were spotty at the beginning of the season. "I think he did a fantastic job with Cam Newton last year, and even helping him recover this year," Tucker said of Chudzinski. "I had heard, even in training camp, that Cam Newton was a different guy from a work ethic standpoint. I don't think that the slow start, I'm not putting that on Chud based on what I've heard from several people." For seven years now, Tucker said he's been told "unprompted" by coaches around the league that Chudzinski is an outstanding teacher. If Tucker is right, Chud's departure to Cleveland may be concerning for Newton in 2013.
