ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Robert Griffin III will undergo a full knee reconstruction after Dr. James Andrews diagnosed Griffin with "complete" tears of both his right ACL and LCL.

It is a measure of your abject stupidity that you still don't realize I was the one proven correct and you were proven wrong.

I don't rejoice at anyone getting injured, but it seems karmic given that Washington's grounds crew got Clemons out for the season. Plus, it was Shanahan's fault for continuing to act like he was the only one in the world not to notice that RG3 was laboring against Seattle.

While all involved are spouting the "he was ok to play" line - except the all important team Dr, that was ridiculous. I had only seen him play once before during the season, but it was OBVIOUS as hell he was NOT anywhere close to ok. Yes, it's the playoffs and you want to win SBs when you think you can, but do you potentially sacrifice the future to MAYBE do it once?

Fans should be angry right now.

Jesus, this thread truely shows the delusion of some of you about Cam.

How on earth could you watch RGIII and Cam, and/or look at the statistics and come close to thinking Cam was either faster or more accurate than RGIII. It wasn't even close.

I especially love the 260lbs at 4.58>4.38 at 220lbs. 4.58 is what a lot of tight ends can run. Cam is not especially fast. He is fast for a qb. He is very elusive, especially considering his size.
    Track

In track, Griffin broke state records for the 110-meter and 300-meter hurdles. He ran the 110-meter hurdles in 13.55 seconds and the 300-meter hurdles in 35.33 seconds. The 300 hurdles time was 1/100th of a second short of tying the national high school record at the time. He was also a gold medalist in the 110- and 400-meter hurdles on the AAU track and field circuit. In 2007, as a junior, he was rated the No. 1 high school 400-meter intermediate hurdler in the country, and was tied at No. 1 for the 110-meter sprint hurdler in the nation. His personal best in the 110-meter hurdles, 13.46 sec, ranked fifth in the world among junior athletes (behind Noga, Brathwaite, Dutch, and Zhukov),[6] while his personal best in the 400-meter hurdles, 49.56 sec, was World Junior Leading in 2007.[7] Also as a junior, Griffin received the Gatorade Texas Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year award,[5] and was named to USA Today′s 2007 All-USA Track and Field team.[8]

RGIII was hovering around 70% before he screwed up his knee. He threw 20tds and ONLY 4 ints. Durability, that is more than fine to point out, but if both are out there 100% on the field, RGIII has flat out been better in the NFL.

Durability is the main issue, and Cam has room to grow in his maturity, so he might be a good leader someday, but with accuracy, and overall football IQ, I'd bet Cam is never even close to RGIII, because those tend to be things that don't change greatly over a career.

Sadly true, and I'd add "leadership" to the list of things that generally don't change much.

If Cam can work in his accuracy for more than 2 hrs a day this offseason and have a 16-1700 rusher to take that kind of pressure off him or utilize tolb, stewart, aNd dlo correctly and his numbers would climb into RGIIIs range i dont know that they'd get close or match griffins rating and efficiency but it would be a drastic all around improvement if we could work the rushing game like Wash
