This is definitely not a deep roster and we're flat out terrible in some areas, but coaching errors in critical situations are a real concern. I'd definitely like to have that no timeout sequence back, in hindsight. It's almost the inverse of the last year's fiasco of calling one so the Saints could kick a FG.

We're being smack talked by probably the least threatening QB in the NFL.

Also meat I don't call our OL solid by any means I don't trust the guards or right tackle.

No way. The secondary is a fucking disaster with only one competent starter (Gamble), and he's not great by any means. The linebackers were supposed to be a strength but have been just average at best. The DEs did have a nice day today, but have been below average overall while the DTs are atrocious. There is talent on offense, but most of it is still flawed in some way.

three of our ends were in the PFF top 15 in pressure at 4-3 end before this week, and while that's distilled down enough that 3-4 OLB and the rare 3-4 DE are taken out, it's not the worst. We should've put something more tangible into CB, and while enough DT over the last two years have chosen to stay (or go somewhere specific enough to suggest they weren't just chasing a payday )that I wanted to come here, we really needed and continue to need a lot more. The Dwan Edwards thing feels like an anomaly and he's never been anywhere near the first guy to get there that I remember.

Without a doubt the worst defensive backs ever to play the game. How do you allow a hail mary in that situation and then don't defend the sidelines on the others

Give it to Harbaugh, Fox, Mike Smith, Belicheck, Payton (lol), coughlin, etc.

They'd be winning. That's my point.

We all get that you can never admit that you're wrong about anything, but no one needs you to pretend like DE is fine just because you made the mistake of saying that it wasn't a critical need before the draft. No one including me is asking you to admit that you were wrong about that, so have the common sense to just leave it alone instead of making bullshit excuses. Our DEs sucked before today, and the lack of a pass rush was a major problem in the first three games. We all saw the games and we all know that to be true, regardless of whatever you want to pretend that PFF said.
