To create and print an image of a listing of files or folders using Microsoft Paint, follow these steps:
Go In My Computer or Windows Explorer, open the folder you want to print, and then press ALT+PRINT SCREEN to copy an image of the active window to the Clipboard.
    1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Paint.
    2. On the Edit menu, click Paste, and then click Yes to display the image.
    3. On the File menu, click Print.

Using a screen-shot is completely useless if you have too many files and directories such that they don't fit on one screen
That is why you should use a program such as: Directory Report

Print to a file then print

From a run prompt type 'cmd' without the quotes
Depending on the where the folder list is the you want to print, you will need to change directory to that directory. ex cd c:\programs\folders

    Then type the following command.
    dir > folders.txt
This will place the text file in the same folder that you are running it from.
this will print the directory to a text file that you can print or edit.

    Qucik steps:
    open command prompt
    cd to top folder
    dir > c:\folders.txt
    Print

The DOS dir command can only report on the file's modified date and size.
But if you want more info such as MP3 tags, EXE version info, owner, CRC32 then you will need to use a program such as Directory Report
