    It would give AE value if he could play WR or return kicks. Basically you'd be dressing a guy to be an emergency QB/WR/KR, which makes no sense. He's not Brad Smith.

    absolutely. if he were good at either WR or PR then it would make sense. as it stands now, he's not going to make the team at either.

    If we ever need our backup QB, our season is shot to hell... the drop-off between Newton and Anderson is so great you'd need a parachute to survive the fall.

    If Hurney had successfully traded the #1 overall pick the next season to get Clausen then he definitely would have been.
