I wonder if there was a signing bonus or if it was strictly a token gesture. Either way, a very respectful thing to do...

    Classy decision.

It has me worried that Tampa Bay is making all of the right decisions, and they will be tough competition for the Panthers the next few years.

Could not agree more. The coaching staff is a huge question mark for them, but it can't be any worse than what they had with Morris. I've said before that I'd take their roster over Carolina's in a heartbeat, although I do like Cam better than Freeman. I could easily see Tampa Bay winning the division in 2012.

Bollox, we own the Bucs. always will. They jumped us at our lowest point.

I'll give them credit for making some moves in FA and drafting "good" football players. But it looks like he's building a small but fast D. While everyone else is going pass happy were gonna pound pound pound straight at your tiny LB's. Bell did a decent job on Bowers, wait till Otah gets a hold of him.

Freeman and Blount must rebound. Barbers another year older, Talibs about to go to jail and they passed on Claiborne, Gilmore and Kirkpatrick for a safety whose tackling I find a little suspect and wanted no part of at #9. He has had alot of talent sitting in front of him along with superior coaching.

I have no idea what kind of defensive scheme Schiano intends to run, but Claiborne would be a bad fit for one that primarily uses zone. He's perfect for Rob Ryan's man scheme in Dallas, though. Barron is a quality player, even if they picked him too high. Doug Martin was also a very nice pickup for them and will replace Blount as the starter.
