Jason Brown

Apparently he lost his starting job last year. On the Rams.

 

This could be interesting but I doubt were talking that kinda money.

Some issues here but it could be very positive.

Played some G in Baltimore before moving to C and excelled.

Very Strong, didnt like the look of how far we got pushed back in the G spots at times, nice idea.

OL Coach had 1 year with him in Balty so we do have familiarity.

Was a big FA on the market that year and the Rams paid handsomely but it was a deserved contract.

Dont know what happened in STL to be honest. That line looked decent protecting Bradford the year before then it all went to pot and last year made Bradford look less than ordinary.

We all know the T issues they had, now i dont know if he shifted out to G out of necessity or what. But it appears C is his best position, could struggle some at G, bit of a gamble.

There are personal issues at work here too possibly.

 

Rams insider reporting Panthers want to sign Brown, Brown will take couple days to think about it.

 

Is this still a possibility?

 

Last i heard he was gonna take the weekend to think about it.

Havent heard of other sheduled visits since for him.

thought i remembered him . .. Brown was the 2nd ranked C in 2005 draft class behind chris spencer (hangartner was ranked around 7 btw). Center is apparently his natural position. If he hasn't excelled at G or T by this point he probably isn't going to.
