Sad usual news for both Heels and Wolfpack from ESPN Insider talking about how bad instate recruiting both teams do

    5. North Carolina State Wolfpack
    2-of-24, 8.3 percent
Top program in North Carolina: North Carolina (seven)
In terms of recruiting, we're as perplexed with the Wolfpack's lack of production as we are with Georgia Tech's. Two ACC programs that can't sign top local talent? (OK, make that four. Duke nor Wake Forest has signed a single ESPNU 150 prospect from any state, so we didn't bother ranking them.) Clemson, Georgia and South Carolina have gone in to North Carolina and lifted a combined eight prospects over the last five years -- even Cal grabbed two. This year, the state's five ESPNU 150 recruits are committed to Georgia (one), Florida (two) and Clemson (two).

I don't think it really matters where you recruit from. It looks good on paper if you recruit from NC but you also have to go out and get the best player available for whatever position you need. NC has produced better talent than years past and a lot of NC guys are fixed on going to play in the SEC.

Yep it ain't rocket science to say the sec football produces more nfl players, the high school player sees that. If a nc team gets better on an annual basis maybe that would change

Eh I don't think it would change that much.
