Replaying the first half of Penn State-Houston and Still stands out as a lazy fucker. The very first play from scrimmage he gets initially double teamed and then gives up, standing there with his hands up while Keenum surveys the field. Then at 13:51 on a swing pass to the left, Still just jogs over in that direction when he could have been involved in the tackle had he hustled. He had teammates over there, but you never know when a broken tackle will happen so it would be nice to see more effort.

I understand some of Still's frustration because Houston isn't running and does a lot of screens or other quick passes, but the lack of effort and the bad body language are huge red flags to me. Plus he's just not explosive or much of an asset when rushing the passer. It reminds me a bit of Kemoeatu in that most pass plays Still is back around the line of scrimmage and the Penn State defensive lineman farthest from the quarterback. Some of that is him getting double teamed initially by the center and left guard, but a lot of it is just him quitting.

Anyone who thinks I'm biased on this should watch the game themselves and point me to plays I'm missing. What I'm seeing is just confirming to me that this is a guy the Panthers should want absolutely no part of. I wouldn't want to spend even a second round pick on him.

Glad for Michigan State. Anthony Rashad White seems like he's just as good as Worthy. Hard to tell those two apart during the game.

When is Russell Wilson projected to come off the board. Watched a lot of Wisconsin this year and he's like a mini-Cam. Same style. Would be a nice backup if the Dinsosaur aka Ace Boogie aka Superman ever goes down...will he be there day 3?

Before getting tossed for fighting. Think db's in the NFL will use similar shit against him. Dudes talented but he needs to grow up

Yeah, I was thinking he's the answer to whoever posed the question about drafting a backup. I think there are too many needs to spend on a QB, but he'd be a really nice backup to have and should be available in the 4th or 5th due to his height.

I really don't buy that we need a backup that can run.
But, Wilson as a prospect is interesting. Paul Chryst is Coryell, and Wilson is rdiculously efficient. Not totally unlike Seneca Wallace in size and efficiency (and, I assume, offensive scheme) in college, or a more running Ken Dorsey if you give him more arm.

I've been championing Wilson's pro prospects for years, so I'm not exactly unbiased. Honestly it would be pretty fucking cool for once to have a backup that other teams actually want to trade for. Nothing happens until they cut bait on Clausen, though. Plus, not having a 3rd means there's no chance they take a backup QB even in the 5th.

What position would Couples play in the NFL? He had a nice year at DT and a little bit less impressive one at DE if I'm remembering correctly.
Assuming we were to draft him I guess he could play both, but we really need to improve pressure off the edge
