I've never understood the decision to fire a coach with a few weeks left.

No kidding. The Chiefs won the division last year and this year injuries have killed them and yet he is fired. Sparano has been dead man walking since they tried to get Harbaugh

Also, it's pretty shitty how Miami let Sparano go through his usual Monday presser before firing him.

Miami has treated him horribly. He may not be all that as a HC, but he's a good football coach. And he didn't draft the Ginn family, as I recall.

I think he had to overcome a lot of bad decisions by the people above him. They never gave him a legitimate quarterback.

speaking of treating a coach shitty, how about interviewing another coach (Harbaugh) with a coach on staff already? That was classy.

Do you really think they will fire Raheem Morris? I thought he was their boy.

Makes you wonder if any coach with NFL coaching experience would take it on. Raideresque

It won't help them if they're going after somebody already in the league. They may be after somebody in college or in the booth and want to get a jump on other teams. They also might have to show a commitment to the change by having an open position on the staff to get serious consideration.
