Eagles have a top 3 rb in the league and Andy Reid still is addicted to the pass. 5 4th quarter leads blown where McCoy was underutilized. 13 years in, and STILL at least one timeout a game is burned. The last few drafts have been atrocious. Despite having possibly the least talented LB corp in the NFL (same shit different year), they spent money on positions where they were deep. Time for Andy to go. The next home game (jets I think) should be entertaining. I'll be the "Fire Andy" chants start before the game.

As an Eagles fan, its tough to root against your team, and I can't do it once the game starts, but for the good of the team, losing out might not be the worst thing ever.

A lot of people, like Mayock, wondered if this team was built right, all pass rush, corners, and nothing up the middle. Those people were right. I don't think another coach would make a difference with the weaknesses they have. Now Reid usually has a lot of say on the construction of this team, and so he has to take some blame for that.

Either way, glad to see them suck personally.

I would help pack Rivera's bags if we could get Reid

Reid has a large hand in that building. He's disregarded the LB position his whole tenure in Philly. He inherited Trotter and Dawkins, and gone for speedy small defensive players ever since, without a lot of success since Jim Johnson passed away.

Steve Fucking Smith (the other one) at 5mm for a one year deal instead of a FA linebacker like Kirk Morrison or Nick Barnett, and starting Casey Mathews. He's always tried to get too cute, and it bit him in his fat fucking ass this year more than ever. I might hate this team more than the Kotite years. At least they just flat our sucked because of lack of talent, and had a pulse.

I definitely agree that they ignored their needs, and Reid has to eat some of that. Roseman just as much, and bears more responsibility for the draft. His success record is a lot weaker than Reid's.

It was Reid's call though of the defensive coordinator slot, which was just odd.

Roseman has been the GM for less than 2 years. His job is more the wheeler and dealer. His drafts look like butt, but its never fair to evaluate a draft after 1-2 years, and Andy Reid has a much higher say in those than most NFL Coaches. Joe Banner has much more culpability than Roseman. If Reid goes, they'll probably all go, and whatever, I'm ready for a fresh start.

You can't buy a Super Bowl. Just ask Danny Snyder...
