    Play any special team coverage (ie don't line drive kick the ball) or even kick to Hester and it's a whole different ball game

    Penalties. Bullshit call against Shockey to negate the TD. 2 special teams TD's by the Bears. Anyway, Cam is still the man. We've been in it every game only because of him. Wish we could figure out how to tackle. Should have won.

    I definitely get why people are excited about him, but it's weird that you pretend he hasn't done a whole lot of bad shit to contribute to the Panthers losing too.

    OK, would we have been in any of these games without him? Maybe the Pickle or Matt Moore would have been better.

    Rivera doesn't know how to manage the clock, and our run defense sucks. Anyway, the thread isn't really about Cam, and I'll give you he hasn't been perfect, but I'm really not sure what your beef is. :confused: Do you think we should start somebody else?

    in spite of his errors, cam is the only reason have been in these games. you can't get around that.

    In other news, sure am glad the Broncos got Fox. I'd rather be 1-3 with Rivera instead of Fox than be the Broncos and 1-3 with him.

    Fox would still be running on 3rd and 8 and there's a good chance we wouldn't have Newton.

    I disagree about the clock if you are talking about the end of the first half. The announcers kept talking about it, but I believe we were taking our time with the clock so we could try to run out the rest of the half while scoring in the process. That way we can avoid kicking to Hester and also avoid a disaster like last week right before the half. I thought it was a smart move to burn the clock.
