    It's a nice young roster with plenty of holes but its one with tremendous potential. A year from now, if Cam develops like we all hope he will, we'll be this year's Lions.
    Meaning that the media will be on our bandwagon and kissing our ass telling us what an "upstart" team we are.

    They say Defenses are usually ahead of offenses in preseason.

    Well our D looks like its 2 the 3 years away right now and needs to be majorly overhauled.

    Waiving the starter on your depth chart ( irvin ) and your 2nd (first ) round pick from two years ago is a step towards overhaul.

    irvin needed to go too. very interesting in hindsight that the scouting reports mentioned more than a couple times his lack of aggression.
