No one takes emotion out completely, but I eliminate it about as much as anyone can. Why didn't I blast the James Anderson signing? Not only have I been critical of Hurney's track record, but before the 2009 season I was critical of the team even spending a roster spot on Anderson. I praised the Anderson contract because James has proven me wrong the last two seasons, and because the amount he signed for was comparable with players of similar talent and production. It was a good move. Meanwhile the market other DEs & RBs signed for clearly shows that the Johnson and Williams contracts were horrid, just as the LB market shows that the Thomas Davis extension was indefensible. If Hurney suddenly stopped being a retard and started making good decisions, I would immediately start praising him. This isn't about grudges or bias, it's about what should be obvious to anyone who follows football and has a basic capacity for reason.

I am an exceptionally intelligent person, but I've gone to school with plenty who were smarter than I am. I've also noted on more than one occasion that magnus knows more about football than I do. What makes me better than them, and him, and you is that my judgment doesn't get caught up in bias or hopes or any of the other bullshit that makes people see what they want instead of what is. I still make mistakes, but I make a lot less of them than almost anyone else precisely because my perception isn't colored by emotion. I agree with magnus when he's right. I asked him to work on our magazine because he knows his shit. But I'm going to call anyone out when they're full of crap, whether they're an NFL general manager, a co-worker, a friend, or family.

    LO motherfuckingrollingaroundtryingtoactuallybreatheandnotpeeinmypants L.

You are so good at keeping your emotions out of things completely that you showed up in an elementary school softball field to fight a guy over comments made on the internet.

Yeah, you are REALLY good at keeping emotion out of things.

Serious issues. But I agree that Hurney has had some headscratchers. I disagree with the fact that arguing opinions should involve insults and sarcastic, self-promoting and belittling personal attacks--it diverts the focus from your point and does nothing to disprove the opposition. When the dust settles, your opponent walks away feeling stupid--for wasting time trying to convince a close-minded, self-centered social outcast that his opinion is not all that matters and those who disagree with him are not liars. If you could keep the topic on football and use this forum to expand your horizons and share insights, that would be great. But you sit behind your computer and fake name and taunt people. Being right is all you care about, and if you are wrong, you will twist things enough until adjusted people give up and you feel victorious. I read your comments and pick out the good stuff, but the stuff where you try to belittle others makes you look like a jerk. When you attack people in areas in which they are experts on the presumption that you know more, you become transparent. You are smart, but only when you drag others into your arena, where conflict and social retardation thrive. You are not winning arguments, you are simply outlasting people because feeling like you won is excessively important. You are wired that way and will never change, and you seem confident that you have assessed your personal issues successfully and are fine with them. In essence, you are more interested in fighting and insulting people because it lures everyone to focus on you and not the topic. That in not very honest, if you ask me or anyone else. You are lying to yourself when you call others liars. But coming to terms with who you are--what you are--is the real issue, isn't it? I suppose when you are ready, you will face the fact that everyone around you thinks you are a prick--and it should bother you more that being right about free agents or the 2010 draft.

It is a measure of your stupidity that you're so amusingly hypocritical, so drastically wrong, and that you seemingly have no clue that variations of those tired insults have been thrown my way for more years than I can remember. No one gives a shit what you think, about me or anything else. Write about in your diary, if you must, but stop wasting everyone's time in this thread.

No, but mostly because I continue to grow fatter and less athletic over time.
