There's alot of them who haven't gotten much PT, or who need to show up:

    Eric Norwood
    Corvey Irvin
    Everett Brown
    Duke Robinson
    Gary Barnidge
    Armanti Edwards

To name a few. It'll be interesting to see what JFG are not Chico guys, and vice-versa. Corvey Irvin and Armanti are two that I'm particularly intersted in.

We're losing at least one TE, too, I'd presume.

I dont know that I'd call anyone drafted after '08 a JFG

I'm glad you included Barnidge in that. I was really high on him when he first came in here, but it seemed like he regressed last year.

That was one thing that used to tick me off about fox, he'd play a vet in front of younger players even though the vets were past their prime and not playing well. He never seemd to develop players very well.

Which is why I looked like an ass for insisting in our magazine that Clausen would ride the pine and Moore would play the whole season.

I hope Edwards has worked his ass off this off season to improve himself. There were some damn good players at pick #33 that could have stepped into the starting lineup this season that we didn't have a chance at.

It is not Edward's fault that we way over paid to get him. He is probably going to only be a return specialist at best.

While you might be right, it's way too early too pass judgement. We knew it would take at least a year for him to learn the WR position, so the fact he rode the pine last year should not be a surprise, let alone a reason to write him off.

Not defending the trade, just the player

Did he show you anything to suggest he would be back this year if not for the investment we have in him?

Im interested to see how McDermott will use Norwood. I think we'll use him more at DE than LB this year. Let him do what he does best, rush the passer.
