Terrible value all around, but they could still be good players. None will be great.

Maybe Clausen will be able to do something once Newton converts to TE.

To be honest i like this draft, 1st and foremost Hurney didnt give away any picks. Picking Newton wasnt my first choice but he's here. The 2 DT's seem to be an upgrade compared to what was on the field last year so thats a plus. THe CB does have off the field issues and some helath concerns but seems to well on the way to recovering from that. If he can get his head on straight he could be a steal. Pilares i like, 88 rec and 1500 plus yds 15tds last year. True he was in June Jones spread offense but still that kind of production cant be ignored. The other 2 are much needed O line depth. All in all compared to what gone on in past drafts i'd say this one is one of the better ones in a few years. JMO.

Swap Newton for Andrew Luck and I am very happy with this draft.

How do you grade a draft before it even happens? Huge fucking trade today!!

CALGARY -- The Calgary Stampeders and BC Lions have swapped six picks in this year's draft. The Stampeders acquired the BC Lions' first round pick (3rd overall) as well as the Lions' fourth and fifth round picks (26th and 34th overall) in exchange for Calgary's first round pick (6th overall) along with their secondnd and fifth round picks (11th and 37th overall).

    Picks to Calgary:
    1st round - 3rd overall
    4th round - 26th overall
    5th round - 34th overall

    Picks To BC:
    1st round - 6th overall
    2nd round - 11th overall
    5th round - 37th overall

I'll feel a lot better if there is a salary cap on draft picks and the Panthers don't have to pay a Bradford money if he turns out to be a Akili Smith reincarnated
