    it's acknowledged that Peppers didn't receive an offer after 09, but it seems that the idea is that he tried to spin his pre-game presser in 10 to suggest he never received anything and the Panthers are to blame for him not being here.

    Which seems more than slightly disingenuous, given that the Panthers were on record time after time as wanting him, not wanting to trade him, and that he was on record (unnecessarily, IMO) that he didn't want to be here.
