Moore, Clausen, Weinke

Is my memory fuzzy, or am I correct? I remember Weinke having major troubles throwing to his left. Can anyone back me up or set me straight? I know he didn't look great over the middle or to the right, but I recall him missing almost every throw to the left side.

 

yeah, he had lefty issues. I remember at the time, numerous times, thinking "nah, that can't be", and he'd have a bunch of solid left throws, then he'd have a couple in a row that looked like I threw them.

 

That's what I remembered, too.

 

well, doesn't say "lost the job directly to...", just says "brought in." I can definitely see being threatened by another inexperienced QB.

I never picked up on this specifically, but others have talked about him not being a team player early on.

For me, I thought it was more telling/interesting that he was considered a starting level player and he immediately re-signed here. I felt that was lack of drive.
