    I consider it a cooking show only because they show and tell how the prepare some signature dishes from each stop. They just do it alot quicker because they have customers to feed and don`t have to spread an entire show with useless drivel and banter. It moves quickly and shows a wide range of taste, some not as healthy as others. Good Eats is entertaining and does it in an original way. Its just that sometimes I feel like he is condescending and a little overbearing. Kind of like a college professor outing you for something personal during a lecture.

    Food can be fun! That's the message of Good Eats, where host Alton Brown explores the ways that food is prepared and the whys of food science. Along the way he and his cast of characters and experts slip in history, comedy, pop references, and (most of the time)

    Maybe. But I find it more interesting.
    So do you think that on Iron Chief they get time to talk etc. Because how do all those sous chiefs know what to do? Something has to be going on that we don't see. But I do love watching it. But I can't stand Dinner Impossible.
