He thought Taylor Price went to Miami of Ohio when he really went to Ohio University. Ryne Robinson went to Miami. So we wouldn't draft another WR from there like we wouldn't draft another USC WR (Williams) because of our busts Jarrett and Colbert.

    2. David Nelson, WR, Florida -- He elevated his draft stock at the Gators pro day, running 4.57 in the 40, with a 38-inch vertical leap and a broad jump of 10 feet, four inches. Though Nelson got overshadowed at times among all of Florida's playmakers, scouts are enamored with his 6-5 height and ability to use his 217 pounds to block and give his quarterback a big target. "He's a tough kid and a competitive kid,'' one NFL scout told me. "He's got rare height and he catches the ball well. He runs good routes and he's just crafty. He'll make someone's team.''

I keep going back and forth on what the WR we'll draft will look like. I mean, in a police sketch I have a solid idea what to describe, but otherwise? I don't know. Will we go small school, like Price? Will we go with one of the bigger guys from the bigger schools? Fast? Will that player return kicks? I don't know, and the worst is I don't really have a big opinion one way or the other. I'd like whoever it is to impact from day one, and who knows if anyone from this class will.

At this point, it looks to me like the small school guys are the only ones who aren't suffering from fatal diva syndrome. I am so sick of all these wide outs and corners prancing around like they're God's greatest gift to the game and their shit don't stink. SHUT UP AND PLAY.

The only possible exception I see in this draft is Golden Tate. He doesn't seem to have the diva-itis as bad as the other big school guys. But I'm probably wrong about that.

I was all about Gilyard but with signing a PR/KR, I'm doubting now we even go WR with 48... looking more like Jarrett has the #2 locked up

agree and agree. The Price type guy seems like somehow a smarter bet than the bigger guys.
