Suspended by Texas Tech before their bowl game. Allegations of abuse towards Wide Receiver Adam James, after James was diagnosed with a mild concussion earlier this month. Forced James to stand in a dark closet twice under guard. I want to hear both sides, but it looks like to me he'll be fired rather quickly after the investigation. This kind of publicity can kill recruiting if they retain him. Also, the player's dad is an announcer for ESPN.

wonder what types of methods (like the dark closet deal by Mike Leach) are regularly used by coaches to get players' attention or to embarrass (haze) them into changing their attitudes?

fuck it. He's a good coach. He has tons of talent and will make another team much better than TT over the next few years. If college won't take him someone in the pros will make him useful.

It sounds like he got in a bitch-fest with a prima-donna kid of a douchebag announcer and lost his job from it. Never put the kid in harm.

 

He was on borrowed time anyway at Texas Tech. He was not the most popular guy with the administration in Lubbock.

 

Heard on ESPN radio that Leach would be a good fit at the Raiders. Maybe he could wear his pirate outfits and coach at the same time.
