What other DE would you want to see besides peppers? Stat wise the only one kind of close is Will Smith from the Saints.

He's been outplayed by Allen, Cole, W. Smith, and Andre Carter (statistcally).

but he makes more money than they do, and let's not forget that he's more "gifted" . . . so he must be a better player and more deserving of the trip

    right?

There is no surprise that players make it off of popularity and the fact they made it before.

I'd say remove the fan vote from the equation.

London Fletcher has just as much if not more beef as Beason. Remember Beason had a terrible 4 games to start the season. He's finished at a pro bowl level, but he's going to have better seasons, where he doesn't have those stink bomb games.

Beason had 2 10 tackle games in the 3rd and 4th games. 31 tackles, int, 2 sacks in those 4 games. The lowest tackle one was the one Davis had like 60 tackles in a game.

Honestly I'm shocked Flozell didn't make it but a lot of the dependable guys (him, samuels, Walter Jones) may not have made the ballot, probably screwed up lots of voting.
