Minnesota was AWOL. Hard to figure, they still had a shot at home field but they were MIA.

    Be fair.

He could have said Manning (pick 1), Brady, Brees, Rivers, etc.

As for WRs, rumor has it TO will be available.

Panther post game on field interviews

Steve Smith, STFU already. You're 6-8.

    How dumb is Peppers?

Peppers: "We had a great rush plan."

    Kramer: "what was it"

    Perppers: "take good angles"

    Thanks Pep.

Guy I was watching with is a huge Smith freak of a fan. After that he said "Wow, I really wish I hadn't heard that. I'll never think of him the same"

Didn't Peppers also answer something like "we brought good rush games"

Well, I for one enjoyed being a Panther fan last night. Game was fun. When the snow hit I was hoping we'd be unable to go to Charlotte and was a little disappointed the roads cleared so fast even though we're still buried. But have to say that's as much fun as I've had at a game in a long while. Thought the D would wear out at some point, but they played all the way.

Throat hurts, got home at 3 AM, got up at 7 and have cleaned the barn and will hit the sofa soon, but I'm happy. Too little too late? Players aren't the smartest bunch in interviews? Whatever, I chose to enjoy the after glow of last night. :bananalama:

I wrote this on another board, but I'll repost it here. This isn't to pick on Piper, but to give another view of Moore.

Matt Moore has limitations as a quarterback. His arm isn't strong enough for some throws. You could see it pretty clearly on some of the throws last night.

The Panthers right now remind me of the pre Stephen Davis Panthers. The fans would gush over journeymen or mid-level running backs like Anthony Johnson or Fred Lane. It was only when the Fans got to see a real stud running back up close and personal like Stephen Davis that they realized what they had been missing.

The Franchise has never had an elite Quarterback in its entire existence. Until it does, the Fans won't know what they've been missing all along and they will keep going gaga over the Delhommes, Beuerlein, and Matt Moores of the world.

You're damn right he does. Writes it on the back of a $1,000,000 check every freakin' week. At least he earned it last nite...

True - but it's alot easier to talk about not having one than actually finding one. We've had alot of professionals trying for 15 years to get one, and they haven't.

Kinda like saying 'That guy is always stoked when he gets a $100 bonus, but he just doesn't know how awesome it is to get a $5,000,000 bonus.'

Bottom line - as marginal as Matt Moore is, he'd the best we've had in awhile, he's young, and he was good enough to stomp the shit out of a very good defense with a makeshift offensive line. And no Deangelo.

All we needed was a guy who could manage the game and be careful with the ball. Moore isn't really any more than that right now but that's better than what we got from Jake. He's young and should get better with more live action. Still don't think he's a long term solution but I think he's proven he can be a good #2.
