He's not. But he is one of the greatest. For the record, I am a Florida fan (until the day Charlotte fields a D-1 football team, that is), but it is sickening how much coverage they give to the guy. I get it, he's a good football player and a good person. But, he's not bigger than the game. Just like Hansbaby, he's a part of a team. Neither one deserves the coverage they get.

Hater. Also, FSU surprised me against BYU.

You don't sound like much of a Florida hater.

I don't think he's even the best player to ever play at Florida. They have had some stellar defensive players there and quite a few good running backs.

If Tebow was on the team that any of you pulled for, you'd love everything that was being said about him. You'd agree with it and want to hear more.

Why is it that our society would rather beat down the good guy and defend those that aren't worth crap?

Have the sports folks gone overboard on Tebow? We'll probably. But better to go overboard on Tebow that on someone like TO

What are you talking about? Have I not made it clear that I cheer for Florida?

It has nothing to do with how good a person he is, I get sick of any player being made bigger than the game, especially in a team sport.

I'm was talking in gereral terms, not specifically to you. Most all the post are negative about Tebow. Great, you pull for Florida, but you're tired of hearing about Tebow.

Tebow's the quarterback of the defending national champs and everything that he says and does is going to be analyzed by every person in the media. God forbid that he makes a mistake down the road or heaven forbid that he's caught saying a curse word. The media will cruxify him.

Still, I'd rather hear about him Vs some goof ball that just signed a 5 year extension for $20M and got off a drunk driving charge after running into a house just because he's a prominent sports figure.

It's the media attention, not the athlete.
