    Check the interleague stats please. The Tigers should not have lost to the Cardinals in 06 either.

    The Western Conference had a team not make the playoffs with 45 + wins in 2008, while the East had at least two teams under .500 in the playoffs. Yet, the Celtics still crushed the Lakers. Doesnt' change the fact the East was a joke.

    Smoltz pitches well in the no-decision:6.0 innings, 4 hits, 1 ER, 6 k's, 1 walk. Game tied 1-1 after 6.

    Pujol's walk-off HR wins game in ninth!
    Cards have won both of Smoltz's starts since he joined the team!
