The use of eventual in mags title edit implies that rosario will lose his job instead of acknowledging what we all know, he has already lost his job.

Yep, missed by a mile. But not really worth arguing.

What facts, you never gave any, just a snide comment. Somehow, I think you have missed the real irony here.

And where exactly have I damned Rosario or dismissed your opinion? If you read carefully, you might have figured out that I was only using that statement as a point of context in stating that some fans do not completely trust Rosario yet. My main reason for even including it was to be sure that it would not be misinterpreted that I was implying that all fans have doubts about Rosario. It was acknowledging that there are those who have faith in him, with no judgment on those views. I just happened to use the two biggest categories of Rosario supporters I have seen on the web, but if you fit into another, perhaps a simple counter explaining why you disagree with me would have been better than getting all pissy and snide, and unwilling to engage in a rational discussion. Basically, this seems to boil down to another case of you reading more into what I said than there was, and inferred an insult where there was none.

Congratulations, you can regurgitate the few examples of Rosario doing something positive. But I was talking about his overall season, not just one game. After September, Rosario was all but invisible, while King was the one getting the bulk of receptions from the TE position. But when Rosario did make his presence felt, it was usually because he missed a block, had a penalty, or didn't catch a ball that should have been caught. So no, Rosario was not on par with King.

Are you really trying to deflect your childish behavior as me not being able to handle it? Now that is rich. Come on, admit it, you couldn't (and can't) handle someone disagreeing with your opinion, so you get pissed and attack them. I've seen it before, and I'm sure I'll see it again (undoubtedly in your response).

At no point did I insult you or even Rosario...in fact, I never even stated what I personally think of Rosario, just some reasons why some people are penciling Barnidge into the #2 slot. But you once more projected your own reasoning as fact without all the evidence being in...or even having a civil discussion to fully understand the other viewpoint. You jumped right into the insults because I had the audacity to answer YOUR QUESTION with an idea that did not fit within your little bubble. So yes, that's childish and immature, and those smartass questions were quite stupid. Sorry if that makes you feel bad, and I'm sure you will work extra hard to come up with more insults to try and discredit my opinion and save face on your own board. But the reality is that you asked a question, then got mad when I provided an answer you didn't like and lashed out the only way you knew how.

For the record, everything I said came from multiple posters on various Panther message boards; it was not simply me spewing my opinion. Do I agree with that I said? A lot of it, but not as harshly as I’m sure you’re taking it. Do I think Rosario is an average TE at this point? No. Does that mean he can or will never become a solid TE? Again, no. He clearly has all the tools, but he needs to cut down on the mistakes and improve his blocking. So does that mean he should be cut immediately or relegated to 3rd string simply because we have Barnidge on the roster? Once more, no, anything Barnidge gets he should earn. But the fact that Rosario has not shown great strides as a TE at this point leads to reasonable questions of whether or not he will ever reach his potential.

What does that have to do with Barnidge as a player? Absolutely nothing. The only part Barnidge plays is that he is that shiny new part that has had some positive press recently and hasn't done anything to indicate he can't step up...much like an early draft pick, you hear good things, but you don't really know, you just hope that he lives up to expectations.

Cant we all just hope one of our tight ends steps up and plays worth a shit? We have not had a really solid tight end since Walls......
