i was talking about against the good teams of the nba, sorry if that wasn't clear. the lakers swept em 2-0. orlando had them 2-1 (all home victories). 2-2 against boston (again, home team wins). so that's a record of 3-6 against the other nba elite.

pick and pop? with howard? it was a pick and roll, and west couldn't handle it by himself and they couldn't switch it cuz he'd then be on howard. the center would be forced to hedge and a soft shot or a lob would end up with howard points. lebron on turkoglu would have been a much better matchup (and was the matchup in the 4th q of game 5 where they ran away with it at the end).

the 3 point shooting was insane. that's not normally a recipe for winning in the playoffs, but they pulled it off so far. ironically, the cavs led the league in 3p% defense. but their normal defense was out the window from the start and it was bad news from there on out.

i disagree about the celts. the cavs match up well with boston and this year they have home court.

I get the impression that everyone is hoping for a Lakers vs. Cavs matchup. Kobe vs. Lebron. That is going to happen. But make no mistake about it the Cavs will win it all. The next Michael Jordan? Its not Kobe Bryant, no matter how much the L A media try to make Kobe like that. It is Lebron James. If you havent followed the NBA you should at least try to see Lebron James. The man is 24, 69" 270 lbs., and has a body fat percentage of 7. This guy would be a world class athlete at a number of track events, and in football as well. He could crush opponents as a tight end.But Im digressing, this is about the NBA. The Cleveland Cavaliers are 8-0 in the playoffs so far. Admittedly the competition was pretty weak. But they will be beat Boston their likely opponent in the next round, and I doubt that it will go past 5 games. Boston cant beat Cleveland without Kevin Garnett, their best player not playing. Lebron James is close to averaging a triple double so far. His supporting cast is solid. So for the first time in what seems like forever, the city of Cleveland will have a champion. For what this is worth for Longhorn fans and even Okies who come on this basketball board, Cleveland has a former Longhorn Daniel Gibson playing for them. They even have an Okie, Darnell Jackson, formerly of Kansas but out of a high school in Oklahoma City playing for them as well.

hmm... so why would a spambot post a "normal" sounding post? there's no sig with weird links. maybe something in his user profile?

is it to simply stay under the radar so they can throw some spam out there but not be seen as a spambot since they also post normal stuff? of course, with 7 posts to date that seems unlikely...

was it user error -- somebody forgot to stuff the stupid links into the message and/or signature?

    i don't get it.
