Conference finals, not the finals. I hope they get knocked out, I can't take any more of this Crosby hype. Without a doubt, the most over rated player ever. He's good, but they decided before he even came to the NHL that he was a golden god and the future of the NHL no matter how many other players possess the same skills set. And it makes me sick the way he is supposed to represent the NHL, and all he does is whine and cry like a little baby. It's an embarrassment. I can't believe he is the Captain of the Penguins. He is no leader, he is a little pouting baby. Him wearing the 'C' diminishes what the great Captains, like Messier, have done before him.

In his first season, he finished sixth in scoring with 102 points (39 goals, 63 assists). By his second season, he led the NHL with 120 points (36 goals, 84 assists) to capture the Art Ross Trophy, becoming the youngest player and the only teenager to win a scoring title in any major North American sports league.[4] That same season, Crosby won the Hart Memorial Trophy as the most valuable player as determined by the Professional Hockey Writers Association, and the Lester B. Pearson Award as the most valuable player as determined by the NHL Players Association. He is the seventh player in NHL history to earn all three awards.[5]

Add another thing. 12 goals, 9 assist in 13 postseason games so far.

You're right, the most over-rated player ever.

Calling Crosby over-rated is like saying Messier was average.

    Both statements are wrong.

    Captain, you should know better.

Of course he won the Hart and Pearson. That's the problem, it was pre-dertermined that he would win them. There is a perception that he is one of the alltime greats and he's just a little punk kid. Doesn't matter what he does, he's going to be getting awards. injuries are the only thing that could keep the media from voting for him. I'm not saying he isn't good, but he's no better than a dozen or so other NHLers. They just don't come with the hype.
