A scout says????

Any time there is a direct quote from an unnamed source, especially an "NFL scout," you can pretty much bet that said quote was originated by the author of the story, who is trying to stengthen his point. Many responsible publications now totally ban the use of "anonymous" or "reliable" or "informed" sources, but on the Internet anything goes, so it's always a case of reader beware.

 

i would almost be willing to buy that peppers to some extent tuned fox etc. out. i would have to give him credit for being diplomatic in not saying exactly that in his comments, and the other related part of it, in my opinion, is him saying (implying) that he doesn't think the team is ever going to win a superbowl.

does that mean fox has lost part of the team? technically, yes. realistically, no. but to be fair, there was a good bit of chatter about "fire fox" before the season. 12-4 shuts that up, but will our traditional 7-9 follow-up keep them quiet?

i just hope something gets done with the deal. not that i think peppers will be a problem if he is here another season...but it's done already. move on. even if it means moving on to a team that isn't on the not-so-secret list,

 

it's lazy as hell.
