At least their driver can win championships. All Jr. fans are still hoping and praying that Jr. will somehow become like Sr.

true, but not in my case. i never really gave a fuck about his dad or him. i pulled for harry gant.

jr. was dating my cousins daughter at the same time my daughter was in intensive care at baptist hospital in winston. she asked him to give us a visit one day and he did. later that day he got a call on his cell that his longtime buddy, adam petty, was killed in practice. i've pulled for the kid ever since.

i sure as hell dont have any ideas about him being the next big thing in racing and i see his flaws as clearly as anybody else does. i still like racing though and its always better to have someone to pull for on race day.

i was never a sr. fan, but was happy for him when he won the daytona 500... as was just about everybody

and i don't expect jr. to ever accomplish what his dad has, just like i never had the expectation for davey allison, but he was certainly well on his way to exceed his dad

jr. is a very real person, he's just a good down to earth guy who happens to race... I pull for jr because I like him... you meet this guy and hear him and talk and i just don't see how anybody couldn't like him

Hell who can live up to what his dad did? That is a lot of pressure on the guy. I neither like nor dislike him but he sure has lots to try to live up to.
