    I never really understood Herb getting the ax. The guy was successful and the team was not to be overlooked. I know that the Pack fans wanted more and I want more for them but sometimes you don't know what you've got till it's gone, I heard that somewhere. I am bewildered by Sid. I thought he would do a great job. It's tough because UNC, Duke, and Wake, are all strong programs but NC State belongs in the Top 25.

    Sid is just beginning his 3rd year, and has zero semblance of a point guard. No, I'm not blindly jumping to his defense, but damn people give the guy time to put some pieces together. Would Herb do any better with this same group? No fucking way.

    You're right, he does need some time to get his team and his system in place, but it sure is ugly right now. That said, with Herb there the team probably never gets into this shape in the first place.
