http://blogs.nfl.com/tag/michael-vick/ Adam Schefter Is usually wrong about the nfl stuff it's not like his the best reporter or anything?...so i guess i am the only stupid one ;) I'm going to laugh if it does happen and then you'll see all those #7 jerseys in the stands just like TO in Dallas, when your winning fans tend to forget things.

It will be challenging for Carolina and its fans to trust Delhomme after Saturday night’s divisional playoff loss.

Yep, that's me too. I don't think I'll ever truly trust him again, no matter what he does next year, until he plays well in a PO game.

I mean, not that I had a lotta trust in him anyway, I always thought that if we got to the post season, he would play well enough to win, especially with a decent run game- bettern reg season as far as trust anyway.

Now, nope. I don't know what happened. I was always appologetic for his WTF moments in the past and figured if/when we got to any playoffs, I could count on him decently. I mean, also, I guess I've always liked his passion, but his negative passion has always showed lack of poise and was embarrasing. I especially didn't like his post int actions like the arm flailing and such, and just generally lost any faith by the 4th and 5th int. Hell, the dang fumble was no surprise. He does that all the time it seems. He's never protected the ball well in those situations, seems like.

Anyway, he's got a lot to prove before I can have much faith in him at any level again. And it makes me sad.

A family sitting next to me at the game started wondering aloud why we don't get Michael Vick.

You guys are fucking stupid.! If Vick came here and did good you would all be Drinking his Kool-aiid To. I know this bound to be controversial. but here is my case:Exhibit A: He is a special playmaker. Much like teams have to invent defenses for Steve Smith teams, they did the same for Vick. Could you imagine the headaches defensive coordinators would have scheming against both these guys plus Deangelo Williams?Exhibit B: I concede he had some off the field problems, however, as far as a locker room guys are concerned, he is one of the good ones. Frank Beamer loved him, Dan Reeves loved him, and his teammates loved him. He isn't the kind of guy to come in and tear up a locker room like a Terrell Owens. I still am having a tough time understanding why Pacman Jones can order hits on other humans beings yet he was playing football weeks ago, but Vick had to go to prison for two years for dog fighting. I am no fan of dog fighting but something seems backwards about that. Anyway, that is another debate for another time.Exhibit C: He could be fairly cheap right now. I think there will be some bidding from several different teams but he is, in fact, damaged goods. He will probably be signed at a bargain price with performance based incentives. We sign a special player who is still fairly young, at a bargain price, with enormous motivation to prove he can still play. .Exhibit D: He is fresh. Don't discount the two year layoff; it is not a wholly bad thing. Yes there inevitably will be rust but two years off also means he may have added a year or two more that his body can sustain play at a high level. Because of the incredible physicality of football, having two years off and letting you body heal could end up being a positive or at least break even proposition. This plan however, must be contingent on the Panthers actually drafting a quarterback in one of the first two rounds of the next two drafts. This is key because it covers us on three important fronts:1: In case Vick can't shake the rust or is a total bust you have a viable second option.2: If Vick comes back better than ever and commands a huge paycheck after his contract expires, you have plausible reason to let him go to the free agency market instead of destroying your salary cap space.3: Even if Vick comes back and plays well he still realistically only has 5-6 years of effective football left, especially with his style of play. This is plenty of time to groom a young quarterback to take over his position once Vick retires. Assuming you could re-sign that young quarterback after his rookie contract expires. The last contingency is to let Vick RUN THE BALL!! Don't buy into the, "he has to be a pocket passer" hype. There is a direct correlation to the time Jim Mora decided he didn't want Vick to run the ball as much with Vick's decline in production. Forget it, let Vick be Vick and play his game. When he did that he was truly dangerous.I know this isn't without controversy but it may be worth the gamble.
