Did we have Otah and Kalil back for that game?

Defensively, they have talent at every position. I'm not sure why they haven't been better as a group, but they can be tough when they want to be.

They've traveled here this season. They'll probably stay in the same hotel, go through the same routine, and that should help an otherwise awful road team.

The air attack by AZ may proves to be too much for the Panthers to hang on. The last time they were here K. Warner racked up 380+ yards.

I just got finished rewatching the first game. Kalil and Otah were out and the first half the line was shit. AZ first TD came off a blitz that Deangelo didn't pick up very good. Jake stepped to the left and up and looked down field but Deangelo got beat and the guy came around and stripped Jake from the blind side. They got the ball on the 5 yard line and scored on the next play.

I think we thought they would pound it in with Hightower because Beason ended up matching up with Boldin who scored the TD. They were killing us underneath and I think we underestimated Breaston because he was open alot. We got decent pressure but Warner was getting rid of it fucking quick.

They fucked up an extra point with a bad hold and tried to get cute with a fake FG that we stuffed before halftime.

Kemo stuffed James and stripped the ball that led to one of our TDs. Hopefully he will be back since they seem to be using James more the last couple of weeks.

Ref's missed some obvious pass interference and holding calls on them so I hope we don't get the same crew.

At the time they showed at stat that we were the 31st ranked team on O in goal to go situations. I wonder where we rank now because we are running it a lot better now than we were back then and after the bye was when Deangelo started lighting it up.

We gotta get pressure on Warner. We had a few that could have been picked when we pressured him, otherwise he picked us apart. Also they tried to run a few screens on us that luckily got dropped or could have been big gains so we better be ready for that shit too.

We used the Wildcat formation about 6 times with pretty good success although I don't think we will need to resort to that now to have success in the running game.

Warner racked up 472 yards against the Jets and lost 56 - 35 and he put up 351 yards against the Giants and lost 37 - 29. Warner is going to get yards, the Panthers just need to keep him off the field as much as possible and the offense will need to play aggressive the entire game.

Does it bug anyone that they stopped ATL's running game?

I'm not surprised that they ran on Atlanta - everyone does - but they held Michael Turner in check without completely selling out on their pass coverage.

That, and Trgo's absolute refusal to put pressure on Warner make me nervous.

We did put "some" pressure on Warner in our previous game. He's just so quick at getting rid of the ball, and he has receivers that can get open quickly.

I hope the Cards' ability to hold Turner in check had something to do with the D being fired up because of home field advantage. They had passion (I love to use that word because others hate to see that word).
