Why were they playing off like 15 yards the whole game? Every 3rd and long to the tight end or some bullshit.

i noticed this too. i think someone said this before in another thread but i was way more comfortable covering against 3rd and shorts than 3rd and longs...

 

Was this the first time you ever watched a panthers game? They always play ten miles off. I think they would rather a team dink and dunk it all the way down the field so their O-line is nice and tired by the fourth quarter but shhh its a secret

 

On a related note, our secondary needs to learn how to fucking make plays.

I know Fox says "better to be ricochet that toast", but we're morphing into both at this point.

Gamble got paid, and is still playing like an average corner. Lucas just looks lost, and slow, out there. Marshall often misses his assignments, and often looks perplexed pre-snap. Godfrey can't catch shit. Harris is an animal, and glad to have him.

The corner play is disgusting. Dropping way too many INT's.

 

In the second half I saw more and more instances of our guys motioning frantically at each other seeming to be confused.

 

DL has to help out some.

 

i kind of thought that was funny considering the giants ran 3 basic plays all game-shotgun run up the middle-sweep to the outside-throw to the TE
