Stonecoldken over there claimed it's only three games, give Lutz a chance. I pointed out the niners are 54-49 since the 2005 meltdown after our blowout win against Southern Miss on Senior night.

 

These guys are nuts. The Clemson game is past, we got rocked by Az State. What can Lutz possibly do to prove his worth at this point (ala the Clemson game last year)? We don't even play Davidson. Only 3 games...haha...like you pointed out, it's 49 or more games.

 

His inability to evaluate talent and coach has driven this program into the ground.

On top of all that he is not a players coach. He shows up after practice starts and leaves the floor before the players do. They never talk to him. Probably why his PG left before the season started and he was surprised.

I knew several players over the past few years and most didn't care for him or just said they didn't know him at all. One 4 year player(2 year starter) told me that he didn't even have a phone number to get a hold of Lutz throughout his 4 years of playing. That's fucked up.

 

He seems like one of those guys who has said, you know what, I'm not going to let coaching a D1 team ruin my family life. Screw that. I mean, great for his wife and kids, but it's getting us nowhere.

If a guy like this cannot evaluate talent, then where does that leave us? It's blatantly obvious he is not an in-game coach. It's also obvious that he cannot change a strategy from year to year based on his personnel (see Curtis Withers Sr. year).

I just truly hate the attitude that he's the best we can get. I don't care if we get anyone better, I just want someone different.
