    I haven't watched the raiders much, but my understanding is that they ALWAYS play a deep safety, and therefor smitty won't be left in single coverage.

    However, Al Davis' insistence on always having a deep safety should open the fuck out of the run game.

    Smith may not get a chance to burn this guy if the Jake goes away from him all day but if it does come up I think Smith can take him.

    Smith can take Namdi, He has inflated numbers because he’s in the same division as the chiefs, and the chargers never really had a standout WR, marshal of the broncos has only been good for 2 years now. And Namdi is on the field the whole game because the raiders "o" sucks.
