    I think he's short of Panther material now that the "After Dinner Minter" has retired. It is funny watching Berman do the highlight show on a Monday. Its like someone stole his ball went home and shagged his girlfriend all in the same day.

    Not on sportscenter they weren't. I think it came on after an hour and a half of a two hour sports center (after THREE IDENTICAL 20 minute segments about what the Pats were gonna do without Brady)

    Isn't Charlotte like a top 30 market out of like 200 and some that is pretty decent size.

    i think we deserve at least 5 minutes of tv on espn since at least the falcons and bears have come up on espn as surprise teams...now if we were 1-4 then we would be all over espn about how the panthers were expected to be better and how fox and the rest of the team was gonna be fired.

    oh well, i guess you gotta be cowboys, patriots, or giants to be great sports coverage material

    Yeah, my bad. I jumped in the middle of this thread without noticing it was ESPN-specific. Panther highlights were prominent on the networks after the Chargers game, but I didn't see SC that week.

    In all honesties i think it better that we get no love from ESPN.I bet when we go 6-1 we will get some love from ESPN.Getting love would be nice.But flying under radar is even better.People outside of Charlotte and outside of NC Don't realize that this panthers team is not the 07 or 06 cats but it more like the 03.Ones we go to playoff and kick some ass as we always do.People on ESPN would say oh look out for the panthers.Btw we are not really a We're a small television market.We are number 18 in the Country

    Yeah, they showed two of the highlights repeatedly because they made the top 10, but I didn't see any coverage on more than the last drive.


    If there were 200 NFL teams then that might look better.
