No doubt. Not only does Dawkins have 'priors' (which the league said would factor into this,) that hit was nearly as bad as the Boldin hit. It certainly was the same intentions.

if that was Jake getting hit by Abraham, and the Falcons did score on that play and it lead to a win, this thread would be 20 pages long of all you same fuckers crying about no flag

Maybe some, but actually a lot of us said that the Falcons had some bad calls go against them too. We can usually be honest about that sort of stuff.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. Jesus, common sense needs to be used in some of these rules/calls...

So, I guess quite a few Panthers fans are in favor of cheap shots by their players?

Thats what it looks like to me based on the way they are defending the hit.

Hmm.. what a turnaround from week two when they were calling for Briggs head on a play where there was no flag.. and later no fine.. but I still said it was a bad hit (even if it wasnt helmet to helmet).

I mean.. look at the picture.. is Peppers helmet (face mask is part of the helmet) hitting Ryans helmet or not? Looks like they made the right call to me?

No. Show me a picture where the helmets are actually touching, not one where it looks like they might touch. If you can't, then stop trolling.

What, fan, attic's picture isnt clear enough for you?

I suppose Ryans head is tilted back because an airplane was passing over at the time?

Look at the pictures again.. Ryans head is back, his shoulders are still forward.

If Ryan was "shrinking back from the hit" as you said, wouldnt it make sense for him to do it with his head and shoulders instead of just his head? Maybe Ryan wasnt worried about the hit enough to move his head AND shoulders away from the hit.. yea, thats it... he has an extra long neck and he figured that would be enough to keep him safe.

If Peppers hit Ryan in the shoulder wouldnt Ryans shoulder(s) also be back?

Give me another type of call that gets missed more than roughing the passer? They certainly miss some holding calls, some offensive pass interference calls, some facemask calls, even some block in the back calls, but they never miss a roughing the passer call. Well, actually, they never miss one that's actually there, but they certainly call in when its borderline. Just venting...
