Yes. Genesis 1 and 2 a bullshit fairytale rendering the rest of that happy horseshit just as meaningless.

So you contend that if everything in the Bible isn't absolutely literal factual in nature, the rest of the Bible isn't at all factual in nature?

You don't understand the Bible or it's history, then. You've based your belief of what religion is and what the Bible is on Biblical literalists who believe the Bible is literally true word for word. The Bible itself doesn't make that claim anywhere.

ok..so my name is kayla..im 16 and even i can figure out that yall are gonna get absolutely no where in this conversation..even though we are supposed to "spread the word" and the reason that WE Christians believe that we should spread our beliefs to whom ever possible is so that you dont burn in hell. we are tryin to help you out whether you believe it or not. so take it as a compliment and not as something bad.
and if someone is going to fight you about it..and they wont listen..you dont have to argue with them and make it hostile. thats not how its supposed to be..if they want to believe it they would ask questions..not criticize you for trying to help them.
    ok?
    thats all im sayin.

Wow, leave it to a 16 year old to be more mature than all of us adults.

    Very nice post.
