TWC includes HD in their service, if you don't have it, then rabbit ears is all you need

Ahh, good old 'HD-ready.' Thank goodness that consumer-confusing term is dying off.

Looks like you need an HD Tuner, in the form of a cable box or dish box. They sell some standalone ones but I'm not sure how expensive they are. They used to be really expensive, allowing you to get an 'HD-Ready' set without one for a decent price. Most sets now come with the tuner, though.

Google says you are out of luck, however.

Going by that, I'd say the TV does have a tuner.

By the spec sheet on their website, it looks like an option.

Your best bet now is to plug in an antenna and see if you get hi def stations. There are extra local 'HD' channels like full-time weather raders, if you can see those channels you've got an HD Tuner. The channel numbers are like 18.1 etc.

You asked for help. You got it. What is it about "HD ready...does not have a built-in HD-capable tuner." do you not understand? I have an HD Ready TV. I knew when I bought it that I would need a tuner to decode an HD signal.

As to the antenna information, you can only lead the horse to water. An Off-Air antenna will pick up local DTV signals, the point being some better than others. They will include, in many cases, HDTV signals as well, but your set, without an HD Tuner can not decode them.

acording to that it only says it has a NTSC tuner which ONLY picks up ANALOG channels. you must have an ATSC tuner to pick up DIGITAL channels including HDTV.
    hope that helps.
